We are TCHS Aero, an aspiring team of student engineers, coders, and creators from Temple City High School.
Our team is working together to merge flight and artificial intelligence to create an optimized automated drone for the college-level SUAS competition in June 2026.
Since the summer of 2024, we've been laying the groundwork by testing budgets, analyzing the difficulty of our craft, and planning our team structure. Now, we're ready to recruit and make TCHS Aero official.
QUICK Q&A
TCHS Aero is Temple City High School’s autonomous drone team. We design, build, and program AI-powered drones to compete at the national collegiate-level SUAS competition.
We’re looking for students passionate about STEM from TCHS. Whether you’re into coding, mechanical design, or operations.
Programming: Develop AI and autonomous navigation.
Mechanical/Electrical: Build the drone’s frame and integrate systems.
